CAH University of Applied Sciences

Created in 1957, CAH Dronten is one of the foremost Dutch universities of applied sciences and professional education. It offers programmes to national and international students (20 percent of the total student population of about 1200) at the level of Bachelor of Honours in agricultural production and value chains and agro-business management. The four main educational programmes are:

Arable farming and horticultural production and chain management;
Animal husbandry production and chain management;
Rural development;
Entrepreneurship, management and agri-business.

CAH emphasizes practice-based skills training and entrepreneurship, and maintains strong links with the private sector to ensure the relevance and applicability of its training programmes.
